I'm not going to lie - when I first saw the poster for The Intouchables, I thought it was a gay love story between an old white man and a younger black man, and since that will one day be my future, I decided to view the trailer.
But what I got is so much more. The story seems to be a little bit Driving Miss Daisy, but not so much racially charged. IMDB summarizes the movie as following " a quadriplegic aristocrat who hires a young man from the projects to be his caretaker."
The preview alone had me crying, so I can not wait to see what the actual movie does to me.
The Intouchables is playing in select theaters NOW.
