That's So... Sisterly.

On Tuesday, March 27, every gay man's dream will come true as Raven Symone makes her Broadway debut, joining the cast of Sister Act as the leading role, Deloris Van Cartier. She will be replacing original star Patina Miller, whose last performance will be March 18.

For all two of you (Johanna and Tessa, I'm looking at you) who have never seen the movie, Sister Act follows a street-smart, loud mouthed lounge singer on the road to fame (played in the films by Whoopi Goldberg) who witnesses her married lover murder someone. Becoming his new target, she flees to the police, and they hide her in the place they know he would never look for her: a convent. While there, she is forced to join the awful choir, and with her background in music, she turns the band of misfits into a national singing phenomenon.

Raven will be perfect for this sassy role, having also played the title role in That's So Raven. Other credits include Revenge of the Bridesmaids, American Dad!, State of Georgia, and Kim Possible. To quote the musical, Raven will be "Fabulous, baby."
