Hines Ward Retires.

Today was a good day...Donny's Birthday (the genius and originator behind Sexy Trash)...the first day of spring...and Hines Ward the former Pittsburgh Steeler and Dancing with the Stars Mirror-Ball Champion will not be wearing another teams colors.
Hines Ward was a receiver for The Pittsburgh Steelers for 14 years. Hines was drafted in the third round of the 1998 NFL Draft, becoming the team's all-time leader in receptions, receiving yardage and touchdown receptions. Ward was voted MVP of Super Bowl XL, and upon retirement was one of only eight NFL players to have 1,000 or more career receptions.

Any Steelers fan can tell you- throughout that 14 years he stepped on the field, his precision and skill kept your nerves and confidence in tact, even as he caught the most unbelievable footballs, which seemed to fly through the air with no path, just magically landing in his strong and graceful arms. The most intense games against the Baltimore Ravens or Cincinnati Bengals kept Steeler fans on their feet and their hearts in their throats, but Hines Ward's calming smile was always there to relax and comfort you.

Thank you Hines Ward. You are going out on top and with class. You are leaving the National Football League wearing black and gold. Unfortunately, the NFL is more of a business than a sport, which we were reminded of these past months, but the Steeler Nation appreciates your loyalty and we will always miss your smile. Thank you for every glorious moment...for many wins...many memories...and many smiles we will never forget.

I will wear your jersey proudly and will miss you every time I watch football. Good Luck & God Bless. *86* Forever
