In the video to "Mean," her ode to Perez Hilton/her other haters, Taylor Swift doesn't so much focus on only those that hate on her, but instead turns the video into a story about bullying in general. And we love it.
We'd be lying if we said we didn't tear up. Sure, the video may be nothing new - everyone seems to have a "Don't care what other people say" video/song these days, but instead of being preachy, Taylor manages to still make her spin on it fun and fresh.
Whether or not you like the video, there's one thing that is not debateable. And that's her beauty in this video. Perfecting her classic beauty, Taylor she manages to pull off a plain-Jane look in the banjo segments but also shows us how flawless she looks when she's all glammed up.
This was a great pick for a single, and we can only pray that "Better Than Revenge" is her next.
